Sis, I understand that you may feel like you are up against a never-ending cycle of pain. Like you keep having the same horrible dream over and over again. You keep trying to shake yourself away, but, you feel bound by the pain in this nightmare. But, I need you to really believe that your current season of pain does not cancel the promises God has for your life!
We’ve all experienced the highs and lows of love. Unfortunately, some more than others. You’ve placed your heart into the hands of someone that vowed to love and cherish you. You trusted them and gave your all. But, they mishandled your heart.
You are not what was done to you. That situation does not define you or make you any less than who you are in Christ. You are valuable. Sis, you are still lovable. You are amazing. God said you are BEAUTIFUL! You are a daughter of the King.
Never allow the mistakes of someone else to taint your view of yourself. Place your crown back on your head. Dust off every lie the enemy threw at you.
Be encouraged, my sister. There are 3 scriptures I want you to hold on to today!
Weeping may endure for a night, but, joy cometh in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)
Allow yourself to cry. Feel the pain and shed tears for the pain you’ve endured. Allow yourself to grieve for the loss of safety you once held so close to you. Go through the process so that the healing can begin. Joy suddenly greats you as you walk through the healing process. One season you will be crying and then suddenly, you’ll look up and experience God’s never-ending joy. It’s not that God wasn’t there before. The promises of God remain true. Sometimes your pain will cloud your ability to see and feel him. But, he is always there.
Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6)
God has not given up on your and the purpose he has for your life because you are experiencing a tough season. His plan has not changed. God has brought you a long way. You are not the woman you were a couple of years ago. This is not the time to doubt God’s promises. Trust that he will continue to do the necessary work in you so that you will arrive at an expected end.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Trust that your best days are ahead of you. This tough season is not going to last forever. God has a beautiful plan designed just for you. You haven’t forfeited it. It hasn’t changed because your current season doesn’t look like it. Hold on to God and the promises God has for your life. Believe his word will never lie or fail.
