Embrace the blessing in knowing your problem is not too big for God

What are you up against?  What is standing in your way?  That situation that sometimes feels like it is resting on your back.  Weighing you down.  Blurring your vision and interrupting your peace.  What is it?   No matter how hard times get, you need to remember your problem is not too big for God.

The enemy wants you to believe that your situation is beyond God’s healing hands.  Its a lie.  There is no storm or struggle that is beyond the reach of God.

But, are you willing to surrender to him.  Are you willing to let go?  Are you ready to stop trying to manipulate the situation and just release it to God?

We make the mistake of believing that the problem can’t be solved without us being in control of it.  Yes, faith without works is dead.  Yes, there will be times that God will give us instructions regarding what he wants us to do.

But, there are times when he wants us to stretch our faith and just trust him.  Rely on him.  Believe that he is still in control.

Even when you feel like you’ve been waiting forever.  The waiting season is still an opportunity for you to see God’s hand at work.

Here are 2 things you can do during the waiting season:

  1. Continue doing what God last told you to do.  If God gave you instructions to be a wife that honors God in everything you do, then do that.   If God said to build up your home and create an environment where your family feels safe and loved, then you continue to do that.   Even during the waiting season, God wants you to be faithful in what he has already instructed you to do.  Stop trying to run ahead of God and jump into the next thing.  Master the level you are currently on.  Be obedient to what he has already asked you to do.
  2. Increase your understanding of who God is.  Sometimes you can get so consumed with focusing on your issue that you forget just how big your God is.  Dive into God’s word DAILY.  Use this time to remind yourself of his goodness, mercy, and provision.  God has NEVER changed and he isn’t going to change now just because of the issue you are struggling with feels too big for your hands.  Read powerful stories like David vs. Goliath (1 Samuel 17),  Moses vs. Pharoah (Exodus 14), and Elijah vs. the false prophets of Ahab (1 Kings 18:20-40)  Remind yourself just how powerful God is and how he is unshakeable when it comes to protecting and defending his people.

God hasn’t forgotten about your situation or those things that are weighing on your heart.  Shift gears and focus on God during your waiting season.  Allow God to mature those areas in your life that need growth.  And most importantly, never doubt God.

Stay blessed Sis!
